In 2022, this lively and large market was voted best in Montana. It has just about everything you could want in food and entertainment. Along with an abundance of fresh produce and other food items, there is a wide selection of ready-made food, crafts, and live entertainment on the nearby stage. Kids are important at this market. The Young Entrepreneurial Stewards program teaches kids good business practices and helps them set up a booth. I once bought a charming greeting card made on the spot by a 4-year-old artist; another young man was selling jokes. (And, yes, the one I got for my money was funny.) The center of the market area is dedicated to carnival-like rides everyone can enjoy.
